The Albergue San José is located in a beautiful city Lagos de Moreno Jalisco. Lagos de Moreno politically is located in the region High North. Geographically among the coordinates 21´ 12´ 00”  at 21´ 55´00” north latitude and 101´32´30” at 102´10´30”  longitude west, with heights among  1,900 to 2,500 mtrs, on the level of the sea.  the County is located at 1,942 meters on the level of the sea.

Lagos de Moreno is close to the North with Ojuelos which belongs to Jalisco State and Aguascalientes State. To the South Guanajuato and Union of Saint Anthony a little village and Lagos is adjacent to the West with San Juan de los Lagos and Encarnación de Díaz.
